About this episode

MJ Munoz reviews Ultraman Omega Episode 4, discussing its emotional conflicts and thematic depth.

Ultraman Omega Episode 4 left me frustrated at first… and then the more I thought about it, the better it got. This episode has a strange tension at its core. Some of it feels very childish, while other parts are surprisingly thoughtful and mature. The conflict between Sorato and Cos, the shogi metaphor about support and importance, and the way Rekiness and Omega evolve all raise questions about who this show is really for and how clearly its themes are landing. Bonus Content - (Coming Soon) In this review, I break down: • Why the emotional conflict felt off • What the shogi scene is actually trying to say • Whether this episode’s message works for kids • How Rekiness’ new ability and armor change the fight • Why Episode 4 improves the longer you sit with it If you loved this episode, hated it, or felt conflicted like I did, I’d love to hear your perspective.
