GS1029 April 14, 2026 Our 'guest' is journalist, author and producer, Josh Karp, who, in 2010, wrote “Straight Down The Middle” about his non-traditional golf instruction journey, largely based on people he heard on Golf Smarter. Recently, Josh wrote to Fred about coming on the show again to promote a golf podcast he was about to launch. After a couple conversations, it was decided that if Golf Smarter was to continue, based on his journalistic curiosity and sense of humor, Josh was the perfect person to take over. In this first of two episodes together, we meet Josh, find out what's he's been up to, and learn about why he wants to take the reins on our show. Next week, we'll both interview Jim Waldron, and then Josh will be the host moving forward. So as not to shake things up too much, Golf Smarter will continue twice each week. Tuesday's will be new episodes with Josh. On Fridays we’ll continue to rerun Fred's archived Mulligans episodes. I hope you’ll check him out and continue to listen.
