As we begin our new series, Re-Construction, Joren takes us into the opening chapter of Nehemiah and challenges us to reconsider what true greatness looks like. When faced with the brokenness of the world, it's easy to drift toward either strategy, trying to fix everything ourselves, or apathy, believing nothing can change. Yet Nehemiah shows us a different response. Before making a plan, he turns to God in prayer. Through Nehemiah's example, we discover that rebuilding starts with aligning our hearts to God's heart, allowing what breaks His heart to move us, and being willing to be used by Him wherever we are.
