About this episode

V Gilmour teaches about the importance of prayer in building a relationship with God while honoring Shane and Lauren Horton for their service.

This is our fourth week in the series of The Path, looking at practical application of what it means to follow Jesus and experience the adventure of faith in community. This week V brings us a teaching on Prayer, uncovering how prayer is how we build relationship and connection with God. Prayer is a skill we can build, the practice of consciously entering into His presence. This week we begin by honoring Shane and Lauren Horton for their 22 years of service at Goodlife. Shane has worked in and been our gym manager and together they lead our Youth group for many years. As Shane finishes up his current role as our Gym Manager we give thanks and honor his many years of dedicated service to our Church and Community Centre. 17:35 The message begins Today's message builds on a teaching from Laura as part of our King's Kingdom series and you can listen to that message here V has mentioned the following books as additional resources.
