After years working at East Fork of the Bear River Scout Camp in the Uintas, they first noticed unusual woven log “teepee” structures; in 2016 Jen heard an eerie, single howling/guttural sound amid total forest silence and later learned others found what they thought was a “bear track.” The next year Connie saw a roughly nine-foot, dark-brown, hair-covered humanoid figure with long arms walking upright along a ridge about 150 yards away. McKayla describes five silent, low, solid-orange aerial lights on July 4, 2023 near Kearns Park that moved steadily and blinked out.
