David Gonzales discusses his journey as an artist and the creation of the Homies characters.

David Gonzales is an artist from Richmond, California who grew up in his local lowrider and Chicano arts scene. Starting with his own t-shirts and comic strips, he created the Homies characters that became a worldwide phenomenon. After selling millions of toys, David had to start from square one after the vending machine industry collapses.
