Jessica and her husband Matt were married about 14 years before having their daughter Kinsey, and she describes the deep inner wrestling of learning to surrender the picture she had drawn in her heart of what her future would look like. Glenda, who had Lindy about eight years into marriage, shares that her struggle was less about longing for children and more about the feeling of being left behind — as though life was a race everyone else was winning while she fell further back.
