After Peter and John are released following persecution for proclaiming Christ, they return to the believers, who respond not with fear, but with united prayer. Rather than asking God to remove hardship, they ask for boldness to continue speaking His Word. God answers by filling them with the Holy Spirit, strengthening their faith, and empowering them to boldly proclaim the gospel.
