Horse racing personality and top handicapper Anthony Stabile, known affectionately as “The Big A,” speaks about the closing of Aqueduct Race Track. The historic facility dates back to 1894 and its final three days are this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Joe and Vince recap last weekend’s stakes action, the highlight being another Emerald Downs stakes victory by Aloha Breeze. She became the top filly or mare earner in track history at $315,390, overtaking Fleet Pacific who raced here 1997-2001 ($307,058). With Aloha Breeze’s triumph, trainer Tom Wenzel took over the top spot among stakes winning trainers, earning his 68th, one more than Doris Harwood.
