1992's Universal Soldier marked the first collaboration between stars Jean Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren. The action titans play Vietnam soldiers resurrected 20 years after the war as bio-engineered killing machines with very different agendas. It was also the first big Hollywood movie helmed but Roland Emmerich, who, based on the commercial success of this film would go on to make some the most successful movies (Independence Day, Stargate, The Patriot) in history. Dan and Vicky discuss the sc-fi action hybrid along with lots of recently seen items like Scary Movie 2026, Toy Story 5, The Furious, and the Death of Robin Hood.
