This gate speaks of “the perfection of action through an uncontrived and spontaneous nature.” That uncontrived, spontaneous quality points to innocence—simply Being as a unique expression of Love in movement. Today I’m leaving India after five months, and one of the things I’ve deeply appreciated here is how tangible that innocence still is. It lives close to the surface—in interactions, on people’s faces, in the ease of a smile, a gentle head shake or the chaos of codeless traffic. Recently, Saturn moved through this gate, as did the Sun, while Neptune remains there for a while longer. This week, Mars joins as well. For me, this activation has brought subtle tones of melancholy and insignificance—an interesting space, because it seems to sit alongside a longing to be someone, to become something more defined or contrived.
