Of course, humans are organizational in the sociological sense, but Human Design is ultimately at the service of awareness. Self-reflecting on who we are as Organizational Beings becomes a tremendous doorway to compassion. To see ourselves as “organizational beings” mystically is to treat individuality as something embedded in a deeper ordering of reality rather than as a self-contained unit. Individuality is our unique door to ‘undividedness’ with Existence, as the etymological origin of the word indicates. According to Human Design’s cosmology, we are expressions of a unified reality, a living cosmic being. What looks like separate individuals is understood as localized manifestations of a single underlying principle - awareness or the Tao.
