Matt Sloane discusses his journey from CNN medical producer to founding SkyfireAI and the importance of mental health for entrepreneurs.
Matt Sloane attended Emory University and was a medical producer at CNN for over 13 years. He developed an interest in drone technology over a decade ago, which led to his founding SkyfireAI (https://www.skyfireai.com/) , a provider of drone solutions for public safety applications including drone first responder, disaster response, medical delivery, and more. He also co-hosted, along with Krista Moulton, the podcast Emotional Runway: Mental Health for Entrepreneurs, in partnership with UAH. Catch the first episode on YouTube here or find it on your favorite podcast catcher: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snUmzzk7iqA Matt co-hosted the Emotional Runway podcast because of a feeling that entrepreneurs often felt isolated when times were difficult. "Financial runway" is a familiar concept to those starting a business, but entrepreneurs can also run out of emotional resources as well.
