NASA astronaut Stephen Bowen discusses his experiences in space and underwater, highlighting the similarities between submarines and spaceships.
He helped to build the International Space Station. He flew three times in a space shuttle and once in a Crew Dragon. He performed ten spacewalks. Before becoming an astronaut, he was underwater. He served on US Virginia-class nuclear-powered attack submarines. As a kid, he was inspired by Apollo. And now he is looking forward to watching the return to the Moon and on the Lunar surface — the Artemis program. He says he is stubborn. And he likes to solve problems. NASA astronaut Stephen Bowen.
