Knox Thames who is a personal friend of Shahbaz and his family and served as the State Department Special Advisor for Religious Minorities under both President Obama and President Trump. His personal account of Shahbaz’s character and work form the basis of the graphic novel “Blood and Water” which retells the life and witness of this great man.
