In this episode, Dewey Lovett guides listeners in drawing a sandcastle using natural materials found at the beach.
Today I want to draw a sandcastle and decorate it with pieces of nature that we found at the beach. We'll draw a sand castle with three main parts, one made from a bucket, one made from a cup, and one made from hands only. We'll add sticks, shells, seaweed, and a straw to decorate. Here are 3 ideas your imagination can wonder about based on our drawing today: When you’re low on building supplies or toys, what can you use instead? Why do we have to pick up all of our trash from the beach every time? What would it be like to live in a sand castle? Imagination Draw Along is an intentionally calm and low stimulation podcast that gives artists space to develop confidence in decision making-- because there’s no wrong way to do art. Some artists like to practice the same episodes over and over. Some like to zip through the whole library. Wanna draw more castles and fantasy pictures? Try a regular castle or the friendly fairies . Maybe this episode wasn't the artist's favorite... try a flag that represents you or a giraffe munching leaves in the trees .
