We’ll learn with historian Brother Rogers , formerly with Mississippi Department of Archives and History. At noon Wednesday, July 1, Brother Rogers presents “ Lafayette Visits Mississippi as the 'Guest of the Nation '” as part of the History Is Lunch series. In connection with America250, Rogers examines the Marquis de Lafayette’s 1825 visit to Natchez during his farewell tour, highlighting his role as a Revolutionary War hero. This program takes in the Craig H. Neilsen Auditorium of the Two Mississippi Museums.
