Munster, Leinster & Joe McDonagh finals review | Kiely’s colossal call | Are we too hard on referees?
About this episode
The episode reviews the Munster, Leinster, and Joe McDonagh finals, discussing team performances and refereeing issues.
John Mullane and Pat Ryan join Michael for a full Munster, Leinster & Joe McDonagh finals debrief. They discuss Limerick's reaction to their Páirc Uí Chaoimh triumph, where Ben O’Connor’s Cork are at heading into the All Ireland series - and the circumstances that saw Mullane get a Garda escort to his commentary duties at the weekend. They also assess the refereeing showcase in the Munster final, where Dublin went wrong v Galway in the Leinster decider and how Laois might kick on after their Joe McDonagh victory. Finally, the lads also chat through Kilkenny’s future managerial options - after Derek Lyng having stepped down from the helm of the Cats after four years in charge.
