About this episode
Lori Johnson discusses empowering women through outdoor skills and upcoming workshops.
Lori Johnson is the Executive Director of Washington Outdoor Women, an incredible organization founded in the Puget Sound in 1998 for women to gain the skills and confidence worthy to enjoy the vast natural paradise that is our home. Lori will host a 4-hour workshop "Bringing Back the Dutch Oven" on April 12, for a campout or just for your back yard. Elsewhere, "Women's Survival Minded Wanders" are seasonal gatherings to explore local trails and ecosystems and discuss various survival options. There is a June 13th date - wait listed, and important to sign up if it is of interest. Lastly, the outfit's main event, the Annual Fall Weekend Workshop, returns Sept 25-27 at Camp Kiloqua in Stanwood. This is such a great way to recognize and feel empowered as women. www.washingtonoutdoorwomen.org See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info .
