Jared discusses the best pop-punk songs, goal setting, finding meaning in struggles, and provides a sports recap including NBA and World Cup updates.
This week in the Rabbit Hole Roundup we're diving into one of the hardest lists I've ever had to make: the 10 best pop-punk songs of the 2000s. Inspired by Bowling For Soup frontman Jaret Reddick naming “Ocean Avenue” as the greatest pop-punk song ever, I put together my own list. And yes I have a very wide variety taste in music going from Migos last week to pop punk this week lol. After that, I talk about why you often already have enough answers to get started on your goals and why taking imperfect action is usually better than waiting for the perfect plan. Then I dive into the question: Does everything happen for a reason? I share my perspective on finding meaning through adversity and why believing there is purpose in your struggles can help you keep moving forward. I also discuss the first look at Shrek 5, and the animation controversy. Finally, I wrap things up with this week's crazy sports recap: World Cup Round of 32 drama, penalty shootouts, and Team USA's path forward BIG3 basketball reactions. Massive NBA trades involving LaMelo Ball, Ja Morant, LeBron rumors, and more! MLB updates including the Yankees' struggles, Kyle Schwarber's home run surge. Prayers…
