8AM: Packers Panic Over Jordan Love’s Softball Scare
About this episode
The episode discusses the Brewers' investment in Luis Lara, the implications for their lineup, and a viral incident involving Jordan Love that raises concerns among Packers fans.
The Brewers made a major investment in top prospect Luis Lara, signing the young outfielder to a long-term extension and fueling excitement about Milwaukee’s future. Jen, Gabe, and Chewy break down why the deal makes sense for both sides, when Lara could reach the big leagues, and how he fits alongside other rising Brewers prospects like Cooper Pratt and Jacob Misiorowski. The crew also debates what the Brewers’ ideal lineup could look like if their young talent continues to develop and whether roster decisions are becoming more difficult because of the organization’s growing depth. Later, a viral clip of Jordan Love nearly getting hit by an errant softball at a celebrity game sparks a conversation about contract restrictions, player risk, and whether Packers fans should have been concerned. The hour wraps with a spirited discussion about Keisean Nixon’s value to Green Bay and whether the Packers should be looking at a new deal for their current CB1.
