About this episode

The episode features guest Ackermann discussing his journey in techno and house music.

The 177th episode of the Jeton Records Radio Show welcomes Ackermann, from Stuttgart. Andres Klein launched his Ackermann alias in 2013, marking a new chapter focused on techno and house after years in other genres under different names. Inspired by the German slang “acker” — meaning to grind or work hard — Ackermann quickly began releasing on labels such as Get Physical, Mobilee, and Kling Klong, gradually shaping a tougher, faster sound that caught the attention of Second State and earned him a residency at Stuttgart’s iconic Lehmann Club. Following a break from touring due to long COVID, Ackermann returned to the scene in late 2025 with shows in Berlin and Dublin. During this time away from clubs, his studio output reached new heights. His work on Marco Faraone’s UNCAGE imprint saw multiple EPs chart in the Beatport Techno (Raw / Deep / Hypnotic) Top 3, including a remix of Consciousness by Marcal, which became the genre’s best-selling track of 2021. Ackermann has collaborated with artists like Vinicius Honorio and Michael Klein, and remixed tracks for Anja Schneider, Marco Faraone, Carlo Lio, and Don Rimini. His productions have landed on respected labels like Suara, BCCO…
