Joey Cadiz is a community leader from the island of O’ahu. He is a North Shore lifeguard, big-wave surfer, former University of Hawaiʻi football player, kalo farmer, and the founder of Lau Lau Solutions — a nonprofit taro farm rooted in sustainability, Hawaiian values, and feeding the community. Most recently when the devastating floods hit Waialua on the North Shore of O'ahu, he was one of the people on the ground helping his community navigate the damage and rebuild.
