True worship is any and every expression of obedience, praise, honor, adoration and gratitude offered to God by a regenerate soul who knows the truth about God and loves Him. Matthew 15:7-9 You hypocrites, rightly did Isaiah prophesy of you: 'THIS PEOPLE HONORS ME WITH THEIR LIPS, BUT THEIR HEART IS FAR AWAY FROM ME. 'BUT IN VAIN DO THEY WORSHIP ME, TEACHING AS DOCTRINES THE PRECEPTS OF MEN.'" * Substituting any human knowledge for the word of God, is taking God’s name in vain during worship.
