Nydair Rouse discusses his journey from football to community development after overcoming a life-altering shooting.
Nydair Rouse is the Community Development Director for the non-profit It Takes A Village To Feed One Child based in King of Prussia. His non-profit work comes after a football career that saw him star at Simon Gratz High School and Division II West Chester University. Upon graduation from West Chester, Rouse, a defensive back, went on to spent time with the Green Bay Packers, the BC Lions of the CFL and the DC Defenders of the UFL. He reached these football heights after overcoming getting shot in the head in a random shooting in North Philadelphia back in 2016.
