What begins as civil unrest and food riots quickly spirals into apocalypse when the Space Hulk Devourer of Stars emerges from the Warp, unleashing Angron, Daemon Primarch of the World Eaters, alongside vast hordes of cultists, daemons, and traitor Space Marines. As Armageddon collapses into slaughter and corruption, the Space Wolves under Logan Grimnar rally desperate Imperial defenders for a final stand along the rivers Styx and Chaeron, culminating in the arrival of the Grey Knights and a brutal showdown that sees Angron banished back to the Warp at staggering cost. But victory only sparks a darker conflict: the infamous “Months of Shame,” where the Inquisition attempts to purge and sterilise Armageddon’s survivors to contain knowledge of Chaos, bringing them into open war with the Space Wolves themselves.
