Sadie's theory is that in these verses and that everywhere that "sexual immorality" is mentioned in the bible, there is an element of consent that is often ignored by evangelicals or Christians who would use the bible as justification to hate members of the LGBTQ community. Gavi's belief is that it doesn't matter whether or not these verses refer to homosexuality because discrimination and hatred are against the higher-priority biblical commandments to love thy neighbor.
