This past Sunday, Pastor Nate continued our walk through Romans as we looked at Romans 10:1-4 and were challenged by Paul’s deep burden for people to know Jesus. Paul said, “My heart’s desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved.” What a reminder that the gospel doesn’t just change what we believe, it changes our hearts. It reshapes our desires, our burdens, and the way we pray for others. The same Paul who once persecuted the church had been completely transformed by the grace of God. His greatest desire became seeing people come to faith in Christ. That’s the power of the gospel at work in a life. This message challenged us to ask: Have comfort and distraction replaced gospel urgency in our lives? As believers, we are called to live with open eyes and willing hearts, ready to point people to Jesus. This week, pray that God would soften your heart and place one person in your path who needs to hear the hope of the gospel. Invite them to church. Share your story. Pray with them. Step out in faith and trust God to work. The harvest is ready. May we be willing workers who continue to Make Jesus Known.
