In 1981, Scott Taylor sat bedside of a seven-year-old boy named Nolan. When Nolan's heart stopped, Scott went with him. He experienced a shared death—Mary Fran, Nolan's mother who had died six days earlier, came across the veil, scooped up her son, and the three of them went to the light together. Scott kept this secret for years. When he finally shared it with Mary Fran's sister Lolly, she described the exact same experience. Scott spent decades trying to get back to that state—traveling the world, visiting sacred sites, chasing the magic. Then he discovered binaural beats.
