That our worth is measured by our work, our fear managed by control, our sin balanced by effort. It sounds right. It feels familiar. But it never brings rest. Hebrews reminds us, “Here we do not have a lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come.” In Jesus, our home is not built on performance. It’s built on grace. We are already loved in Christ. Fully. Securely. From that love, something beautiful grows. Praise becomes natural. Generosity flows freely. Good works aren’t a way to get God’s attention… they’re the fruit of hearts already held by Him.
