This month, one company wants to celebrate the joy that can be found in that journey. Comfort Keepers , a leading provider of in-home care for seniors and adults in need of assistance, is celebrating their eighth annual “National Day of Joy” June 24. It takes place each year on the last Wednesday of June and was established to encourage and inspire individuals to find joy in the everyday moments. This year’s National Day of Joy comes with new research, a survey of 2000 Americans in what’s known as the “sandwich generation” adults who are simultaneously raising children and caring for aging parents with 96% saying family is the most important thing in their lives. They are carrying significant responsibility while helping their loved ones age safely, comfortably, and with dignity.
