Exactly 2 weeks ago actually. It's crazy because it was a goal I've had for a while, and it's a big deal to me, and a huge honor…. and yet I couldn't find the emotional bandwidth to really celebrate it when it happened. The day before it happened, I woke up to find out that one of my closest friends had been killed in a motorcycle accident. He was my go-to, and he probably would have been the first person to celebrate this milestone with me. So, when it happened and he wasn't there, it caused a big pit in my stomach, an enormous wave of grief, and I also had the happy feelings associated with the milestone all at the same time. I felt like my heart was going to explode because I wasn't sure what to feel. The other day, my friend Robin reached out to me to congratulate me on this accomplishment.
