About this episode

The episode discusses the injury of key defensive player Sam Okuayinonu and the signing of Khalid Kareem as the 49ers prepare for their season opener against the Rams.

The San Francisco 49ers got some unfortunate news about a key piece of their defensive front, as Sam Okuayinonu landed on the IR and did not make the trip to Australia ahead of the team's week one matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. To fill his roster spot, the San Francisco 49ers signed Khalid Kareem off the Atlanta Falcons' practice squad, a player who has familiarity with the Raheem Morris defensive scheme. We inch ever closer to the start of the regular season, less than a week away.
