Auburn Should Make These Two Changes Against Southern Miss This Weekend
About this episode
Zac Blackerby and Darrell Dapprich discuss necessary changes for Auburn Tigers' upcoming game against Southern Miss, focusing on offensive line adjustments and running back strategies.
Auburn Tigers face pivotal questions as offensive line changes and running back strategy take center stage. Zac Blackerby and Darrell Dapprich debate whether Deryc Plazz or another contender should replace Jacob Strand at left guard after a shaky week one performance. Is a full-fledged switch necessary to bolster Auburn’s protection ahead of their SEC showdown with Florida? The duo also tackles Auburn’s under-the-radar wide receiver success, spotlighting standout performances from Keshaun Singleton, Chas Nimrod, and Jeremiah Koger. Running back rotations, led by Jeremiah Cobb, spark debate: Should Auburn limit Cobb’s carries against Southern Miss to preserve him for tougher competition? Key discussions include comparisons between Baylor’s and Florida’s defensive lines, the importance of finding the right offensive line combination, and the potential for fresh faces to emerge in the receiving corps. Can the Auburn Tigers sharpen their attack and build crucial momentum, or will lingering concerns against Southern Miss set off alarm bells for the season ahead?
