About this episode

John Karalis breaks down the Knicks' historic comeback against the Spurs and its implications for the Celtics and the Eastern Conference.

New York Knicks shatter NBA Finals history with an electrifying comeback, erasing the Boston Celtics' comeback record in unforgettable fashion. Can the Knicks’ momentum carry them to a long-awaited championship, and how will this shake up the future of the Eastern Conference? John Karalis of Celtics On SI breaks down the jaw-dropping swings between the Knicks and Spurs, analyzing Karl-Anthony Towns' early foul trouble, OG Anunoby’s clutch defense, and Victor Wembanyama’s late-game struggles. The ripple effects extend to Giannis Antetokounmpo trade rumors, the possibility of a Bobby Portis acquisition, and the Celtics’ strategies for capitalizing on potential Miami Heat and Milwaukee Bucks roster shakeups. Key questions include whether a Knicks championship will impact future trades, how Boston can strengthen its lineup, and if rising Western Conference threats—fueled by young stars with something to prove—will challenge the Celtics’ title hopes.
