Who Gets The Call As A Miami Dolphins Team Captain In 2026? Plus The Biggest Wild Card On Offense
About this episode
Kyle Crabbs discusses the potential candidates for Miami Dolphins team captaincy and the implications of roster changes on the team's leadership and offensive strategy.
Miami Dolphins enter captaincy week with leadership questions as Jeff Hafley puts the vote to players—who will step up in a roster full of fresh faces? Kyle Crabbs spotlights likely candidates like Malik Willis, Aaron Brewer, Zach Sieler, and Jordyn Brooks, examining what true veteran presence means for a unit returning only 21 of 53 players. Are the Dolphins destined for four, six, or more captains—with NFL trends seeing teams like the Chargers and Rams naming double digits? Crabbs breaks down Bobby Slowik’s arrival as offensive coordinator, asking if he’s the missing piece or just another wild card after mixed results in Houston. With Miami’s high-variance roster, the spotlight turns to new chemistry between Will Sheppard and Kyle McCord, practice squad churn, and the legacy of “Ray Feinga” 2.0—Ethan Bonner. Will this young squad surprise the league, or are the Dolphins headed for another season of uncertainty?
