About this episode

The episode discusses the New York Giants' draft selections, including linebacker Arvell Reese and offensive lineman Francis Mauigoa, and analyzes the team's future direction.

The New York Giants make a statement in Round 1, selecting linebacker Arvell Reese at No. 5 overall. Paired with Brian Burns and Abdul Carter, could this be the Giants’ best linebacker group in years? At No. 10, the Giants add offensive lineman Francis Mauigoa, who is expected to start at guard and bring versatility to a unit still looking for consistency. How much better is the offensive line now — and is it finally trending in the right direction? Reports indicate the Giants do not plan to trade Kayvon Thibodeaux, while John Harbaugh and Joe Schoen address the media following Day 1. What can fans expect in the upcoming rounds, and how will the team approach the post-draft wave of free agency? We also cover key draft ripple effects, including Sonny Styles to Washington, Caleb Downs to Dallas, and the surprising trend of only two quarterbacks selected in Round 1. Jay Berman, Patricia Traina, and Mark Collins break it all down on the latest edition of the Giants Squad Show.
