GIANTS POSTCAST: FIRST SWEEP OF THE SEASON as Giants Come ROARING Back to Beat Cardinals
About this episode
The episode discusses the San Francisco Giants' dramatic comeback win against the Cardinals, marking their first sweep of the season.
The San Francisco Giants trailed by five runs headed into the 8th inning but came roaring back with a six-run, two-out rally to put them ahead for the 7-6 win and secure their first sweep of the season. Today's lineup featured only one player from the opening day lineup (Jung Hoo Lee), yet this squad is playing their best brand of baseball all season long with most of their big-name players on the shelf. In fact, since Willy Adames hit the IL, the San Francisco Giants are three games over .500. Rafael Devers got the day off today, snapping his streak of 309 consecutive games played but that did not stop Bryce Eldridge from producing at the plate again. The rookie slugger is showing you every day that he's the real deal.
