Washington Adds SURPRISE Commitment From 3-Star DT Joseph Peko
About this episode
The episode discusses the commitment of three-star defensive tackle Joseph Peko to the Washington Huskies and its implications for the team's future.
Jedd Fisch and the Washington Huskies flipped three-star defensive tackle Joseph Peko from Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes, adding power and depth to their 2026 recruiting class. Can Peko’s NFL pedigree and high football IQ bolster the defensive line and shape the future of Ryan Walters’ scheme? Locked On Huskies host Roman Tomashoff highlights Peko’s similarities to his father, former Cincinnati Bengals star Domata Peko, and explores how this addition cements Washington’s defensive front as one of its strongest ever. Key segments focus on the Huskies’ strategy to develop young talent like Derek Colman-Brusa, TI Umu-Cais, Ramzak Fruean, and JD Hill, balance immediate impact with long-term growth, and address major roster turnover.
