Washington SURGING In Recruitment Of ELITE Four-Star WR Osani Gayles
About this episode
The episode discusses the Washington Huskies' recruitment efforts for four-star wide receiver Osani Gayles and their overall recruiting strategy.
The Washington Huskies are surging in the recruiting race for four-star wide receiver Osani Gayles out of IMG Academy, who included Jedd Fisch's program in his top five, alongside Alabama, Notre Dame, Stanford, and Tennessee. Can the Huskies pull off a major win over the SEC now that USC is out of the picture? Locked On Huskies host Roman Tomashoff breaks down Gayles’ official visits, his game-changing skill set, and how family ties to the Pacific Northwest could tilt the odds in Washington’s favor. Tomashoff spotlights the Huskies’ aggressive recruiting strategy across multiple positions, with targets like five-star offensive tackle Oluwasemilore Oluboboloa, top-ranked guards Gecova Doyal, Lincoln Mageo, and DaJohn Yarborough, and standout safeties Jaden Walk-Green, Isala Aisa Wily-Ava, Gavin Williams, and Malakai Taufoou. Insights include potential lineup puzzles at wide receiver, why early playing time remains a strong lure under Fisch, and how the 2027 class could set a new standard for UW football.
