About this episode

The episode discusses the Toronto Maple Leafs' coaching search and the potential hiring of Bruce Cassidy amidst ongoing NHL playoffs.

Toronto Maple Leafs speculation continues as Bruce Cassidy emerges as the head coaching frontrunner. With the Vegas Golden Knights deep in their Stanley Cup run, are the Leafs playing a strategic waiting game to secure Cassidy’s services—or simply running out of options? Mike DiStefano and Dave Morassutti explores the significance of Keith Pelley’s praise for new GM John Chayka, addresses fan skepticism, and breaks down Toronto’s drawn-out coaching search just as other key NHL jobs fill up. Goaltending power rankings take center stage looking at whether Joseph Woll sits above Anthony Stolarz, and playoff-tested names like Frederik Andersen and Aiden Hill enter the mix. How do the Maple Leafs’ goalie options compare to those of the Vegas Golden Knights and Carolina Hurricanes?
