About this episode

The episode discusses Auston Matthews' commitment to the Toronto Maple Leafs in light of recent trade requests from other American stars.

With Connor Hellebuyck now publicly confirming his trade request from Winnipeg, another major American star appears to be looking for a way out of Canada. That raises an obvious question in Toronto: should Leafs fans appreciate Matthews' commitment to the organization more than they have? Mike DiStefano and Dave Morassutti discuss why Matthews' decision to remain with the Maple Leafs is becoming increasingly significant, especially with other American stars such as Quinn Hughes and Brady Tkachuk moving toward American markets.
