The Phillies opened the scoring in the 1st inning with an RBI sac fly by Luis Arraez bringing home Kyle Schwarber. Alec Bohm then followed in the inning with an RBI double to give the Phillies a 2-0 lead. The Phils added two more runs in the 7th inning on a pair of solo homers. The first one came from Derek Hill to lead off the seventh on an 0-1 cutter followed by Kyle Schwarber‘s 42nd home run of the season and second of the series to open a 4-1 lead. But in the top of the 8th, Alex McFarlane took over for Nola and surrendered a three-run homer by Ronald Acuna Jr that tied the game.
