About this episode

The episode discusses the Utah Utes' dominant 66-14 victory over the Idaho Vandals in their 2026 season opener, highlighting key players and performances.

Utah Utes explode past Idaho Vandals in a 66-14 home opener, as Morgan Scalley claims his first victory as head coach. Devon Dampier and Wayshawn Parker headline a dynamic offense, while Braden Pagan and Ricky Johnson flash playmaking potential in Kevin McGivin’s revamped attack. Was this the breakout performance that sets Utah up as true Big 12 contenders? JT Wistrcill breaks down Utah’s dominant showing at Rice-Eccles Stadium, from the pass rush’s relentless pressure to the emerging depth at running back and wide receiver. Key topics include the offensive line’s growing pains, the Colton Swan-led defense stifling Idaho’s Joshua Wood, and what this early win means for the Utes’ path to 10-2 amid a soft Week 1 college football slate.
