Sitting with His disciples in one of His final conversations with them, He uses the simple but powerful image of a vine, its branches, and a thoughtful gardener to reframe everything they thought they knew about growth, purpose, and what it means to truly live. What if true life isn’t something that we achieve but something that we receive? The difference between feeling drained and feeling truly alive and fruitful comes down to one word: abide.
