Explore the fascinating history of London's oldest churches, from how All Hallows by the Tower has some of the oldest stones in London, St Olaves is where Mary Ramsey, the first plague victim is buried & St Bartholomew the Great is the only place in London to have had a visitation from the virgin Mary herself. St Bartholomew's may also be where the plague spread in Smithfield, leading to a huge plague pit by the Charterhouse.
