An education strategist from upstate New York, Jacquelyn has spent most of her adult life living and working in some of the world’s most complex and overlooked regions. From Sudan—where she lived from 2015 until the outbreak of war in 2023—to a year running an NGO in South Sudan, and now calling Norway home, Jacquelyn's life has been shaped by places few people ever experience. With 150+ countries and territories under her belt, Jacquelyn is known for traveling overland, chasing borders, and seeking out destinations far beyond the typical tourist trail—unrecognized states, remote regions, and corners of the map most people never consider. Her adventures have included following the equator through eleven countries across three continents, venturing deep into the Amazon, and riding a cargo barge down the Congo River in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
