On episode 209 of March Forth with Mike Bauman, Mike chats with Zhaklina! Originally from New York, Zhaklina is a Nashville-based alternative rock/pop artist and mental health advocate. A poetic storyteller with a strong faith as her driving force, Zhaklina uses her music to encourage others to live from a place of knowing they are loved, and inspire messages of mental well-being. Suicide prevention and mental health awareness are both central focuses for Zhaklina's purpose and message as an artist. In addition to contributing to mental health organizations like NoStigmas, To Write Love On Her Arms, and Project Semicolon, Zhaklina also founded Mental Health Songwriter Nights in Nashville. Established in March 2022, Mental Health Songwriter Nights gives back to both mental health organizations and local artists. On Saturday, 5/9, the next Mental Health Songwriter Nights event with take place at the Mockingbird Theatre in Franklin, Tennessee. After dropping her single "Labyrinth" with friend and fellow Nashville artist Anastasia Elliot on 3/13, Zhaklina's next single entitled "Out Of My Head" will release on 5/15.
