The Pyramid Project team is back from Egypt with new datafrom inside the Great Pyramid of Giza. Using custom ground-penetrating radar, robotics, cameras, and advanced sensor technology, the team conducted one of its most ambitious surveys yet - collecting new information from deep within the pyramid and identifying areas that warrant further investigation. In this update, Sean Whitehead, Jan Franke, Rob Richardson, and Arjun Nagendran discuss what they learned from the latest mission, the promising radar results they’re currently analyzing, and why some findings cannot yet be made public. They also address the ScanPyramids “Big Void,” explain what it actually takes to confirm a hidden space, and reveal plans forupcoming missions using radar, robots, and cameras to investigate specific targets inside the pyramid. The goal: bring the different pieces of evidence together, investigate any interesting spaces they identify, and ultimately release the results of their work to the public.
