Jack Hager, a Vietnam veteran, shared an honest account of his military service, struggles after returning home, and the path that ultimately led him to faith and ministry. He enlisted during the Vietnam era after growing up in an Army family, served in military intelligence in South Korea, Germany, and Vietnam, and witnessed firsthand the emotional toll of war and the difficult reception many Vietnam veterans received when they came home. After leaving the Army, Jack became involved in drug trafficking and organized crime, eventually being arrested and sentenced to prison. While incarcerated, he experienced a life-changing Christian conversion that completely redirected his life. Following his release, he entered ministry, eventually dedicating decades to working with youth, military members, and prison populations.
